Chatswood Oval has been the home of the Gordon DCC since the 1905-06 season. For nearly 90 years the Gordon Rugby Union Club have also claimed the ground as their spiritual home. The grounds large grandstand is named after the immortal Victor Trumper who played for the Gordon DCC. Built in 1924, the pavilion has witnessed many cricketers in its shadows over the past 100 years. This publication traces the history of the pavilion and recalls the stories of the cricketers and footballers who have played the sport at the ground.

The Cricket Publishing Company
The Cricket Publishing Company began with a simple idea in 1980: to publish quality Australian and New Zealand cricket books. The first book was The AIF Cricket Team, that played in England, South Africa and Australia following the First World War.
As a small cricket publishing business based in Sydney, we pride ourselves on our personal touch, the opportunity to work with authors, and dedication to the task of publishing interesting and quality cricket books.
